Position Summary: Position
is responsible for HBI Radio Brainerds administrative and financial
processes including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts
receivable, payroll, and cash
management. Supervise Traffic Coordinator position. HBI Radio
Brainerd radio stations include: WJJY-FM,
KBLB-FM, KLIZ-FM/AM, KVBR-AM, and KUAL-FM.
Essential Job Functions: Administrative
Serve as point
person with HBI Corporate Human Resources and ensure execution
and administration of Company policies and practices, including
job postings, FCC/EEO compliance, new
employee orientation, benefits administration,
office supplies inventory and ensure all office equipment is properly
functioning, scheduling maintenance as needed.
recommendations for equipment or service upgrade/replacement as
Petty Cash custodian.
Performs all accounting
activities using the professional application of
accounting principles, practices and techniques in accordance with
industry standards, current laws
and Company policies.
Cash/Credit card receipts processing and reconciliation with HBI
monthly billing functions in accordance with HBI Corporate month-end
schedule. Duties include processing adjustments, generating invoices,
fulfilling special handling requirements, invoice/statement distribution,
month-end balancing, co-op forms/affidavits, etc.
monthly commissions for all Account Managers, including any adjustments
for chargebacks and refunds. Distribute commission statements
to local Account Managers and HBI Radio Corporate within scheduled
projection reporting, by station, to management and HBI Corporate.
customer and Account Manager inquiries, this effort may require
indepth account analysis and
activities on an ongoing basis, involving management as needed.
Includes bad debt communication to Corporate for purposes of accrual.
accounts payable duties including invoice review, coding, and
non-cash awards tracking/reporting and
other year-end IRS related requirements.
for reporting to music license organizations.
Traffic function ensuring missed/added spots are handled correctly
on all billing.
timely Trade accounting for all BBay and traditional Trade related
Traffic personnel during their absence/unavailability or during
high volume periods.
internal control structure for all financial systems and transactions.
Assist with any audit requests.
annual budget process.
cooperatively and collaboratively with others. Builds working
relationships with co-workers,
customers, vendors and the general public. Acts in
a professional manner when representing each station.

other hours or alternate schedules as
needed, as assigned by the General Managers or
required to complete a project or task.

Physical Requirements:Ability to communicate in
English both verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity and fine
motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office
equipment (telephone, copier,
calculator, etc.) for extended periods of time. Responsible for
financial matters related to the
stations ensuring that all accounting activities, general ledger
reporting, monthly closings,
reconciliations and analysis are carried out in compliance with
internal and external policies
and procedures. Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence,
and business proposals. Requires the
ability to think critically, strategically, analytically, logically
and tactically and to articulate information that may be complex in
clear, concise manner to others.
Ability to hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written
direction. Ability to gather and organize large amounts of data and
search for patterns and
connections. The Company may

collaborative team environment with a number of members. Also

or Associates Degree in Business Administration/Accounting with a
minimum of 2-3 years directly related
business experience or equivalent accounting
understanding of GAAP and accounting theory and processes.
software skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
ability to take initiative, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and
