Billy Holiday is
originally from Brainerd and started his radio career here in
1987 on KVBR. After college in Bemidji and a couple of years in the "Twin
Cities" he moved north. He spent 5 years in Duluth where
he also did a morning show. He's glad to be back home and is
especially pleased to be able to raise his two boys here,
close to family and friends. |

A great
American and man among men, Andy Hammer appeared in 36 singing
cowboy movies (not really, but it sounds good doesn't it?)
before turning to radio. Andy has since worked in some
of Americas finest radio markets and been the envy of all
around him. These days Andy has learned how to
hack into this website and change his bio, cool eh? |

The Doctor is keeper of
all that is "Good Time Oldies". Many remember
him as the guru of the "WJJY Hot Wax Weekend
Show". He has built up quite a reputation in the
Brainerd Lakes Area as the authority on music.
Hey! He lived it baby! Scott Kile is the Doctor,
and this doctor makes house calls every afternoon when he
drives you home from work. Our rock-n-roll doctor is
also a pillar of the community as a member of the school board
in Crosby. |

Jay has been
sharing the overnight duties on Cool 103.5 with Wally
Pike... until this summer when he was informed that he'd
be returning for another round in the desert. This isn't his
first trip to Iraq, he was also in the Desert Storm of the
90's plus deployments to a number of other locations around
the world in the past 20+ years in the service. All of us at
Cool 103.5 are VERY proud of Jay and look forward to his safe
return. |

-Tess grew up in Duluth, Graduate of Duluth East, and U of M
Duluth, with a BA Degree in Communication.
-Started radio career as a part-time DJ on 98.9 KTCO in
Duluth, promoted to Promotions Director for 6 radio stations
within the same company.
-Moved to Minneapolis in 2000 to take a job as Marketing
Director for Radio Disney. 3 months later moved to
Cozumel, Mexico for two months only to return and be promoted
to Promotions Manager for Radio Disney.
-Spare time is spent scrapbooking (Tess is a Senior Consultant
for Creative Memories), working out at the YMCA, fishing WITH
GLOVES, and spending time with husband Derrick, friends
and her two cats, Drew and Thor. |
